Emergency Procedures

Fire Drills
Fire drills will be held the first week of school and at least once a month thereafter. Students and staff will exit the building as
quickly and quietly as possible, according to the pasted emergency exit route in each room or area.
In the event of a bomb threat, fire emergency procedures will be followed.
Tornado Drills
Tornado drills will be held in the fall and spring. A bell will ring and students and staff will move to their designated areas, as
posted, and stand by the wall with hands covering heads until the all clear bell is rung.
Crisis Plan
Our district and building has a crisis plan that will go into effect immediately in the event of a crisis. (Board Policy EBBC)
